I have been a very creative individual my entire life. My grandmother still has drawings I did when I was two-years-old! I excelled at my school art classes and most of my homework was doodled upon. After I graduated high school my love of art was overshadowed by life and I lost touch with my creativity.  A few years later I decided to go back to school and take a ceramics class. I fell in love all over again! As my creative energy returned I began to draw again as well. After meeting the man who would become my husband, that drawing evolved into painting and over time art became a part of my life again in multiple forms. Now 6 years later I have been dedicating as much time as I can to painting, creating pottery and exploring new forms of self expression.

 Over the years I have grown and changed, and my art has changed along with me. My name has gone from Cara Williams to Cara Hoberman and with it my artist signature transformed as well. My work is greatly influenced by the many areas that interest me in life such as spirituality, ancient myths and cultures, the Divine Feminine in all her forms, pregnancy/birth, and our connection with nature, the Universe and each other. I hope that through my work I can spread a deeper appreciation and connection to the things that make life so beautiful and unique.
